Mitsubishi XD500U-ST, XD530U, and HD5500 Projectors

Mitsubishi has just announced their new projectors that they will be releasing soon. They XD500U-ST is designed for educators and presenters. It features XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and can display a 60 inch diagonal image from only 33 inches away. This will allow the presenter to stay out of the projection and keep shadows from showing on the screen. The XD530U will also feature XGA resolution but is designed more for offices and meeting rooms. It displays images with 3000 ANSI lumens and will also have wireless network capability. The last model is expected to be the best of the three, the Mitsubishi HD5500. This model will be replacing the widly successful HD4900 model. The HD5500 will be able to display full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution with 3LCD display technology. The HD5500 is expected to be the world’s quietest projector with on a 19 dB noise level. This will allow people to hear more of the movie and less of the distracting hum that the fan creates. The HD5500 is expected to sell for the same price as its predecessor, for $2495.
