InFocus has recently announced their new projector lines that will allow presenters to show PowerPoint presentations on the big screen. The IN1100 and IN3100 series feature the latest in DLP technology. The IN1100 series has two models in the IN1100 ($1299) and the IN1102 ($1399). Both of these models feature up to 2200 ANSI lumens and an 1800:1 contrast ratio. The IN1102 also features WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, whereas the IN1100 has an XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The IN3100 series has three new models, IN3102 ($1499), IN3104 ($1799), and the IN3106 (1799). These models feature a brighter image with 3000 ANSI lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The IN3102 and IN3104 feature XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, whereas the IN3106 has a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. The IN3100 series projectors all come with an HDMI input for high definition displays. The IN1100 and IN3100 series also feature the new DisplayLink system which allows you to connect your computer to the projector through a USB connection. The DisplayLink system allows you to connect and present in seconds, eliminating the time needed to adjust your computer or the projector. These projectors are not expected to be on sale until August, but are available to look at on the InFocus website.
