At COMPUTEX Taipei 2008, Active Development Co., Ltd. will show consumers various products, specifically the WA1200 Wi-Fi viewer that was designed for home or office use. When connected to the PC wirelessly, the WA1200 can be used with either a TV or projector. The device will also allow for playback of data stored on the remote display device. It includes a remote control for convenience. According to Henry Wu, general manager of Active Development, “What we offer is a low-cost security solution suitable for homes and families, as opposed to IP cams for industrial and professional purposes,” he adds, “With our product, you can set up a home surveillance system with a price that is a quarter of what’s found in the market.”
