InFocus IN35W Projector Review

With regard to the InFocus IN35W projector, not much can be said about negative qualities; and this reviewer has many good things to say about the projector. Various factors, such as portability and design have been taken into consideration, not only this but the weight of the device. Any enthusiast knows that when looking a projector such as this, it’s important to note that these projectors are typically used for a classroom or office setting for presentations or educational activities. In addition to this review, the LiteShow II will be touched upon, which is an accessory for the projector. As with any projector, problems arise when using plugs and trying to install them in a timely manner, and that’s when we can use the 802.11g Wi-Fi link of the LiteShow II for maximum portability. That’s right, when using the LiteShow II, we can eliminate the cords that might pose problems (i.e. like tripping on the power cable in the middle of a presentation). Another projector that uses this feature is the Taxan (now PLUS) KG-PS125X due to its SDIO-card wireless implementation.
The projector boasts a high 1,280 x 800 native resolution, and emits around 2,500 ANSI Lumens. According to the reviewer, when analyzing the screen, “I saw little evidence of the dreaded rainbow effect, even at large screen sizes, and colours were bright, realistic and natural all at once. It’s easily bright enough for business presentations, and with that resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio it’s also a natural fit for projecting HD video – although not 1080p obviously.” However, the projector used optics that were less impressive for the reviewer. For connections, on the rear of the device you’ll find the D-SUB input/output ports, and “Infocus’ extended M1-DA socket and there’s also S-Video and composite analogue video connections.” The verdict on this projector is that when paired with the LiteShow II it makes an essential business tool because it’s easy to use and has excellent features, for that reason this reviewer gave the projector a features score of 8 out of 10.
