InFocus Corporation today announced the XS1 Projector which is available only in Asia, the XS1 projector “reduces the distance of the projector from the screen to a 0.7:1 ratio, one third that of regular projectors.” The XS1’s features enable use with Interactive Whiteboards; in addition to an analog/digital input range allowing users to connect any data or video source. The projector also has a native XGA resolution of 1024 x 768, 2,200 Lumens, and an 1800:1 contrast ratio. According to Joe O’Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer & VP, Global Operations, InFocus, “We are very excited to launch the InFocus XS1 in Asia as it allows users to create the Big Picture experience in smaller spaces such as conference rooms, classrooms, trade show booths and even cozy living rooms. Being Wireless Ready with the InFocus LiteShow II adaptor, the XS1 is flexible for integration or desktop use in any space-constrained environment.” The XS1 is available for a retail price of S$2,499.
