What some people do with projectors can be very interesting, and normally you find customized theaters, mobile projectors, or even multi-touch screens; but not for Drew Burrows; he’s made a digital girlfriend. One that is a 2-D projection onto a bed surface, and it actually responds to your gestures. According to Burrows, his invention uses an “infrared sensitive” light projection called INBED, so if you make a gesture such as lying on your back, or curling up the projected woman moves, based on an infrared sensor.
