Barco and IBM Global Financing Offer CLM Projection Offering

Barco, a developer of visualization and entertainment products has partnered with IBM Global Financing (IGF), the lending and leasing business segment of IBM to develop a new lease offering to give assistance to rental and staging companies so they might be able to more easily acquire Barco projector technology. In the past, Barco has provided graphic effects to concerts such as U2, George Michael and Kylie Minogue. This new CLM Lease Offering is backed by IBM Global Financing, and this action allows companies access to Barco’s CLM line of projectors. According to Paul Foulkes, vice president, Vendor Financing, IGF, “For years, large concert promoters and event planners have relied on the Barco name to bring high-tech visualization and lighting technology to the stage,” he adds, “Thanks to this leasing program, smaller rental companies will also get the chance to acquire Barco’s state-of-the-art projection technology. We are delighted to incorporate a financing program with Barco to support those companies as they grow their business.” This offering allows for monthly payments for projectors like the CLM HD8, which is a projector that emits 8,500 Lumens, and uses DLP technology, or the CLM R10+, which is a 10,000 lumen DLP projector.
