Recently, RealD was given the silver award from Society for Information Display (SID) due to their advances in visual display technology. They were also named one of the world s most innovative companies by Fast Company magazine. They have revolutionized the industry with their stereoscopic 3D technology, and have turned movie entertainment into a unique experience. Their system uses one projector, but places a filter on it that can switch between different polarization. This system has gained a lot of ground with enthusiasts as sometime soon it will without doubt, become apart of the home theater system. It should also be noted that buyers have an advantage when purchasing these systems because they can upgrade without buying another projector.
