NEC has selected Silicon Optix, a leader in advanced video processing, to use their Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) technology with the VT800 projector, which according to Bob Guentner, Product Manager for NEC Display Solutions states, “HQV enables such unique features as Advanced Accublend, which delievers detailed images when using non-native resolution sources and 3D Reform automatic keystone correction. This ensures that no matter what angle the projector is set up in relation to the screen, vertical distortions are instantly corrected.” The HQV processing is a technological leap in video processing methods, with de-interlacing, noise reduction, and scaling; you can’t go wrong with this solution to your entertainment setup.
