In Fourways, Johannesurg, NuMetro Montecasino is installing a Barco 2k digital cinema projector for Questek Advanced Technologies. The D-Cine Premiere DP100 digital projector is capable of 2048 x 1080 display resolution. The system uses Texas Instruments DPL cinema technology for premium performance and reliability. According to Sobi Mokholo, general manager of Questek Advanced Technologies, “The Barco D-Cine Premiere range offers the most advanced digital cinema projectors globally, allowing 3D to take the cinema experience to a new level for audiences.”
