Recently, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics announced its 500 series projectors that use Texas Instruments DDP 2230 DMD chip with DLP, and the latest version of BrilliantColor. In addition to the enhanced design of the projectors, they are offering a one year warranty. The 500 series emit the following Lumens: The XD500U at 2200 Lumens; XD510U at 2600 Lumens; XD520U at 3000 Lumens, and the SD510U at 2200 Lumens. According to product manager Wayne Kozuki, “Our new 500 DLP series of projectors offers probably the best projectors available at their price points. Apart from their completely new design, the family’s improved color performance removes all obstacles that stop LCD projector users from moving to DLP technology.” All of the 500 series projectors includes audio inputs, dual computer input, monitor loop, splash screen, password protection, and anti-theft security bar. These projectors are scheduled to ship this month.
