In the eyes of Lenny Lipton, Digital Projection is a term that can mean a number of things, but one thing is for sure, the technology has created a new era of for the entertainment industry. According to Lipton, the system of digital projection falls into two categories; live-action and planar to stereo conversion. He claims digital technology is powerful in its entirety, and “leaves film-based photography of stereoscopic images in the dust.” But for this technology, Lipton agrees that it’s important for the director to be able to preview the images immediately, but should never become an automatic process. All things considered, he claims only companies such as Christie, Barco, and NEC have the required specifics for 3D technology and provides a great deal of knowledge to justify his informative data.
