Kodak to Provide Cinema Solutions to North America

Digital Cinema

In an effort to introduce digital  cinema across North America, Kodak signed with Santikos Theatres, which operates 126 screens and Goodrich Quality Theatres that operate 280 screens. Kodak has also been chosen to provide support for 15 screens in Canada. This deal is for 3D purposes to target the “Hannah Montana” film, and will include Christie Digital 2K DLP projectors and a 3D upgrade from RealD. With high performance digital cinema becoming increasingly important, over 5,000 will be targeted in the next few years by the various investing groups. The operation will begin sometime in 2008.
