NEC has announced a new widescreen projector, the NP3151W LCD projector. For $4999, you get a 500:1 contrast ratio and 4000 ANSI lumens. The NP3151W is able to produce a 500 inch, diagonal, image on the screen with native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. It also comes with two HDMI inputs as well as DVI, RGB, BNC, component, s-video, and composite connections. This model also has two integrated speakers to 10 watts of stereo sound. The NP3151W will be available in March.
