The JVC DLA-HD100 is one of the best models that JVC has to offer. For just under $8000, the DLA-HD100 features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and a 30000:1 contrast ratio. The reviewers at Home Theater Magazine got to give this projector for a spin and they liked what they saw. They thought the black levels and contrast ratios were amazing. They also thought the images projected were seamless, natural and highly detailed. The DLA-HD100 also featured a sleek, lightweight (25 lb) design that the reviewers really enjoyed. Their final thoughts about the DLA-HD100 was, “The DLA-HD100 is quite a bit more expensive and perhaps only marginally better than its predecessor. I prefer more natural colors, but the JVC performs in state-of-the-art fashion in so many ways, and it just looks so damned good overall that i can’t restrain myself on that basis. I’ve spent time with many of the best projectors available over the last several years, and this is unquestionably on the most compelling I’ve seen at any price. Highly recommended.”
