The Hitachi CP-X450 will be the newest projector to join the Hitachi family, when released. This 3LCD projector features 3500 ANSI lumens and will have XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The CP-X450 also comes with a few preset modes, including whisper, whiteboard, and blackboard modes. It also features an Adaptive Progressive Scan which is suppose to produce less flicker, high resolution and smoother motion video. The CP-X450 is also light weight, only 7.7 lbs, and can be used between office and home theaters. Unfortunately, there is no information yet on the release date, or retail price, for the CP-X450.
