The Epson EMP-DM1 is one of Epson’s more portable projectors. With a built in DVD player and two, 8 watt speakers, this projector does not need extra connections in order to enjoy a favorite movie. The reviewers at nudjit.com had the pleasure of reviewing this projector. The EMP-DM1 features 1000 ANSI lumens and a 300:1 contrast ratio. It also provides WVGA (854 x 480) resolution. The reviewers noted how easy it was to set up the projector. The built in DVD player saved them a lot of time by reducing the amount of connections needed. They also pointed out how the color balance didn’t need adjustment after it was set. The two main problems that the reviewers had with the EMP-DM1 were the noise and brightness. Their final thought was, “If you have a spare room and are looking to setup a small home cinema then i’d recommend you buy this projector without hesitation. It’s incredibly affordable, packs some fantastic features and can be transported very easily if needed.”
