Radio City Home Theater with Twist

radiocitytheater_a1.jpg

Here is an odd design for a home theater. The architect was inspired to make this room based off of New York’s Radio city and 2001: Space Odyssey. The walls, ceiling and floor have been surfaced with orange foam which helps with acoustics. The orange arches also have 600, 5 watt bulbs which allow viewers to see where each step is. The lights also have dimer switches in the back of the room for when the movie is being showed.
