One of ViewSonic’s newest projectors is the Pro8100. With 1000 ANSI lumens and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, this projector rivals some of its competitors. The reviewers at Trusted Reviews are the first to get their hands on this projector. One of the high points about this model is the fact that this model allows every element of its display to be adjusted and tweaked for optimal viewing. The Pro8100 also comes with five preset black level settings including the “blacker than black” option. Their problems with the Pro8100 were minor if you don’t worry about absolute perfection. They thought the dark level, as wonderful as they were, weren’t the best they could be. They also though the projector could be brighter and quieter in its design. Their final verdict was, “Its good points outweigh it’s bad ones very comfortably indeed, and its unprecedented flexibility really can come in handy provided you’ve got at least a little idea about what you’re doing. I’d actually go as far as to say that when set up at it’s best the Pro8100 is the finest LCD projector I’ve seen to date.”
