Coming January 31st, Sony introduces a new Bravia SXRD projector. The VPL-VW40 features an amazing 15000:1 contrast ratio, a low 22 dB noise level, and an HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. There is no information about the brightness as of right now. The biggest hype about this model though is the $2999 price tag on this model. This price will make the VPL-VW40 the least expensive SXRD projector on the market.
