Displaytech is one of the leading suppliers of liquid crystal on silicon micro-displays (LCOS). Recently they announced that they have given 13 companies shipments of their micro-displays. This FLCOS panels are going to be used in the new micro-projectors that are currently being developed. These micro-displays are small in size, and require only 100mW of power. There is no word as to which companies received the displays. However, there is a guarantee that the projectors will be demonstrated at the CES convention. The CES is the biggest information and technology convention, running from January 7th to the 10th in Las Vegas.
