The time has finally come for Sony’s SRX-R220 to be revealed. This theater projector is able to display 18,000 lumens with its 4 KW lamp. It also delivers the same 4096 x 2160 resolution as its siblings who share the same series. Standing over 5ft tall, this big boy is no small piece of equipment. It comes with a wide variety of equipment including an LMT-100 media processor, screen management system, an extra large RAID storage and a built in power supply. This model will be available in May and, with any luck, will be showing up in theaters shortly thereafter.
