BenQ officially announced their new W10000 1080p DLP projector today. Though we’ve known about it for months, this is the first time that they’ve officially confirmed its existance. The official announcement hasn’t presented any new information that we didn’t already know; the specifications remain unchanged: 1100 ANSI Lumens, 10,000:1 contrast ratio, and a single 1080p DLP chip. Of course, the W10000 won’t begin shipping until December or January so you’ll be waiting a couple more months for it, but it looks like it will cost roughly 628,000 JPY (~$5,000 USD) when it finally ships.
