Sony’s new VPL-FE40 and VPL-FX40 LCD projectors are pretty sleek in design and in functionality. The 4000 ANSI lumens makes them bright enough for most large venues, and the wide range of connectivity including HDMI, Component BNC, RGB and all the others you’d expect on high-end projectors. The VPL-FE40 offers a native SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) resolution while the VPL-FX40 gives a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and both will be available in Japan this winter.
