ELMO, known for their popular presentation products in offices, schools, and elsewhere, will be selling their newest DLP projector, the EDP-XD205R, in Japan next week. A lot of large numbers seem to follow this XGA (1024 x 768) native resolution projector. Showing a brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio with a maximum screen size of 300 inches, there are nothing but nice large numbers here. There is one number that isn’t particularly large compared to the others though; the price, approximately $2699 USD is very well-placed for the kind of hardware this projector is sporting. Unfortunately, there is no word yet of when or if this projector will make it outside of the Land of the Rising Sun.
