Its now mid 2007. Do you have equipment recommendations for a new home theater I am building that is part of an addition to a log cabin we bought up in the Mountains of NC. The wall for the projector screen is 143" wide and 135" tall. From this wall, the floor steps up twice (14" each step, 3 seating levels)to the back wall. I plan to build a rack to support all the components just out from this wall. If I put the projector on this rack, it will be about 24' from the screen. A great picture is important. We really like our Sony KDS-R60XBR2 HDTV we got last year. Because of the remote location in the mountains, we have Direct TV (HD and HDDVR options) We also get netflix DVDs but don't yet have a HD DVD player. We will get one for the home theater.
