The light path has been redesigned to further improve the black level, allowing the SIM2 HT300 to reach a true contrast ratio >1000:1. Furthermore, the SIM2 HT300 features a new built-in deinterlacer and video enhancement (DCDi™) powered by Faroudja that completes the extraordinary performance of the projector.

The lens shift provides a 16 degrees (+/-8 degrees) optical correction for a perfectly rectangular image without artifacts, and where high-ceiling installations are an issue, a digital keystone correction (vertical and horizontal) can be added via Remote Control up to a maximum projector tilt of 42 degrees (+/-21degrees).

Also, SIM2 HT300 projector is equipped with a new 6-segment color wheel that, by increasing the frequency of the colored images, dramatically reduces the color separation artifacts (commonly referred as a rainbow effect); the annoying color flickering visible to a small percentage of individuals.
