The new Video Xtreme™ VX-40d 3-Chip DLP™ Projection System represents Runco?s ultimate achievement in video projection design and performance. It has been crafted for the very finest home theater applications and true connoisseurs of big-screen picture perfection. With Runco?s three-chip implementation of DLP, no color wheel is used, reducing mechanical complexity and compromises to color spectrum purity.

The VX-40d?s newly designed Xenon illumination system uses a 1000W lamp to produce Runco?s brightest pictures ever. Its Darkchip 2 array features a native resolution of 1280 x 720 for stunning high-definition performance. Runco has engineered ISF™ calibration standards into the VX-40d for the purest video performance, and has incorporated a motorized horizontal and vertical lens shift system to accommodate even the most difficult projector placement issues.

The VX-40d is furnished with Runco?s next-generation, all-digital DHD controller, featuring advanced Vivix II™ processing, superb scaling, and the industry?s most advanced aspect ratio control system. Our exclusive CineWide™ with AutoScope™ option is also available, which provides true 2.35:1 widescreen movie enjoyment while preserving every pixel of resolution.
