With the new Knoll HD282 DLP?digital home theatre projector, you not only feel like you're in the movie theater -- you'll feel like you're part of the movie. The HD282 boasts a native resolution of 1280 x 720, is fully DTV compatible, and will accept and display all ATSC HDTV formats including 720p and 1080i. What used to cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars, full factory D65 calibration is now included in each HD282. Lens by Carl Zeiss?, enhanced video processing (scaler and DCDI 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down) by Faroudja?, Mustang HD2+ light engine by Texas Instruments?, and proprietary software by Knoll?, the HD282 has all the best to offer in one projector!

The IMPROVED light control system allows the HD282 an unprecedented 2200:1 contrast ratio. Thanks to the new "flat pixel" technology and the new 10 bit video dac's, the HD282 boasts the best noise-free dark scenes in the industry. A new high-speed seven segment color wheel virtually eliminates ?rainbows? and disturbing motion artifact problems. An improved anti-flicker lamp circuit balances any instability from the power sources, creating images completely free of flickering. The huge lens has a wide-zoom field, making the HD282 one of the easiest projectors to install, because it is not as placement sensitive.
