The world-class HD177 really delivers the engineering innovations, features and picture quality required for today's multi-format home theater applications. The HD177 is one of Knoll's mid-line third generation DLP™ projectors featuring the remarkable Matterhorn DLP™ imager. It has all the features and almost all the picture quality of our top-of-the-line true HDTV projectors at a fraction of the cost. It will accept and display all ATSC HDTV formats including 720p and 1080i, as well as almost all conventional NTSC, PAL and SECAM format material. Old VHS tapes as well as any new DTV and HDTV formats can be easily displayed.

What used to cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars, full factory calibration is now included in each HD177. Lens by Carl Zeiss, video processing (scaler and DCDI 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown) by Faroujda, light engine by Texas Instruments, and proprietary software by Knoll's, the HD177 has all the best features, packed into one projector!

The high-speed color wheel virtually eliminates "rainbows" and disturbing motion artifact problems. The huge lens has a wide-zoom field, 1.4:1 making the HD177 one of the easiest projectors to install because it is not as placement sensitive. Packaged in an aesthetically pleasing chassis with a modest footprint, it can be ceiling or floor mounted.
