Pros: Great image for an all-in-one- although rated at 480p it does look AWESOME with my PS3 pushing 720p.
EXTREMELY easy to use - truly plug and play.
Sound is ADEQUATE for small rooms, works really well for internal speakers...invest in some SONY or BOSE computer speakers and THIS ROOOOOOCKS!!! (I have a small 2.1 Sony that I use when I play Rock Band and it is unbelievable!!!!)
Can't stop watching it every night - or put down my controller --I have been losing alot of sleep since purchasing.
Brighter than expected at 1000 lums. I would swear it should be rated higher --even when not at max output it is phenomenal.
Cheap replacement bulbs in comparison to others...\
Many different hookups - SVGA works the best and is CRISP.

Cons: I can't find one yet --oh wait! The provided case is chinsy.
And like I said before - speakers are adequate, but not exactly home surrond quality - for less than $90 you can shake the walls...

Review: Go buy this now!!! I searched for an EPSON Moviemate 30 for 2 weeks straight on Ebay and other internet chains. I wanted the onboard DVD and speakers, but was concerned about image, sound, and quality (I ALMOST bought a refurbished 30s). I AM SOOOOO GLAD I RAN INTO THIS EPSON MOVIEMATE 50. If you are looking for an all-in-one this is IT. The difference betweeen SVGA and VGA (Moviemate 50 vs.30) connections is VITAL. The way this project renders 720p with supposed 480p is unbelievable!!! I have a 37" 720p Hi def LCD, and I took my PS3 off of it after I saw how well this thing handles the picture - JUST GORGEOUS! Screen door effect is barely noticeable, but there...I have no issues with this and unless you are a connisuer you won't either!

Bottom line, I spent $750 on my 37" LCD w/built-in DVD, and $680 at Best Buy on sale for this Moviemate 50 (also with built-in DVD). After watching a few dozen movies and playing PS3 on it for hours, I can tell you I wish I had not bought the LCD and just got one of these first(and I do love my HD)

Get one and you will see what I mean. Very impressed with this Epson. PLUS it is half the weight and size of the 30 model. It is right about the same size as a normal Inocus / Viewsonic projector - totally portable! Mine is going with me to Iraq!!!!!
