This new SVGA portable projector continues to exemplify Epson projector paradigm: smallest, lightest, brightest. And, the EMP-5000 offers unparalleled XGA compatibility using Epson's own SizeWise, a unique resizing technology that results in image reproduction with virtually no visible content loss.

The EMP-5000 has an unprecedented 300:1 contrast ratio (the ratio between the blackest blacks and the whitest whites). With more than twice the contrast ratio of other projector designs, the EMP-5000 provides sharper colors and richer, truer blacks.

And, since illumination uniformity (the ratio of brightness between the center and the edges of an image) is an impressive 85 percent, the EMP-5000 eliminates hot spots found in common projectors.

With a footprint of approximately A4 in size, weight of just 6.4 kgs and brightness at 450 lumens, the EMP-5000 offers a combination of the smallest, lightest, brightest multimedia projector in its class.
