Epson EMP-3500 3LCD Projector

The new EMP-3500 is an addition to the range and continues to exemplify Epson's projector paradigm: smallest, lightest, brightest and offers VGA-to-SVGA compatibility using a unique image scaling technology.

The EMP-3500 boasts 650 ANSI lumens, all from the output of a single, cool-running 100-watt lamp. The resulting transmission is brighter and allows brilliant display, even in large auditoriums with the blinds open or the lights on.

Aside from resolution, the major identifiers of portable projection quality are color saturation, contrast ratio and illumination uniformity. And, among the image engine components of a projector, LCD quality is the key.

The LCD's in the EMP-3500 are purpose-built for projectors and are produced by Epson's parent company, SEIKO Epson, one of the world's largest Poly-Silicon LCD innovators and manufacturers. Epson uses three Poly-Silicon LCD's at 640 x 480 pixels: one for red, one for blue and one for green. So for every image that is sent through the projector, almost a million pixels are used to create the final dazzling output. This approach gives the EMP-3500 clear, crisp text and graphics with accurate, saturated, brilliant colors.
