The projector offers Vertical Keystone Correction, designed to easily counteract the distortion that occurs when projecting at an angle. If you find yourself without a white screen available, the LV-7230 can be switched to Blackboard Mode, so that natural image colors are preserved even when projecting onto blackboard surfaces. The projector's wide-angle zoom lens ensures that large images can be projected from a short throwing distance, enabling the projector to be positioned closer to the screen. The powerful 1.6x zoom lens offers total freedom of projector placement.

Utilizing the three lamp modes, you can balance between normal brightness, reduced noise, or with Auto Mode, a mixture of the two. Quiet Mode is particularly useful for home cinema, as together with reduced noise, the lamp life is considerably extended. You can even select how the projector cools down after you have finished your presentation. Choose to have the fan continue running at full speed for 90 seconds, or run for longer at a slower speed.

With the Automatic Multi-Scan System, there is no need for manual image adjustment when you set up the projector - the LV-7230 automatically detects the signal type and resolution, and sets itself up accordingly. The projector has an easy to use ergonomic remote control that can even be used to control the mouse on your computer. The clear on-screen menus support 12 different languages.

For those occasions when you are presenting with your back to the projected image, the LV-7230 comes equipped with an RGB output, allowing you to connect an external monitor. In addition, the LV-X4+ can easily be connected to any item of audio-visual equipment that has a SCART connector, by using the optional adapter cable. For complete security, the projector can be locked with a password when not in use. This feature is indispensable for preventing unauthorized use, as well as discouraging theft.
